As one of Tympanik’s most prolific artists, Lucidstatic consistently strives to develop and refine his sound. In 2008, Lucidstatic came to Tympanik Audio to present his official debut album ‘Gravedigger‘, demonstrating a powerful blend of breakcore and Industrial elements that made critics and listeners perk their ears to this noisy Alaskan newcomer.
Never one to remain dormant, Lucidstatic has created and released countless new tracks through various labels and outlets, as well as remixed and collaborated with a never-ending list of musicians from around the world. In the spirit of accord within our beloved underground music community, his passion to meld and share his ideas with like-minded artists is as clear as vodka.
Now, Lucidstatic offers a new collection of work spanning a multitude of genres and music styles, demonstrating his astonishing capability to craft diverse, unique, and memorable songs within a considerable scope.
Initially working from a vast collection of unfinished material, Lucidstatic approached and was approached by a talented cast of both up-and-coming and well-established artists. Piece by piece, track by track, each selection for ‘Symbiont Underground‘ was poured over, polished, and perfected until the collective results swelled beyond the expectations of its creators.
Lucidstatic’s ‘Symbiont Underground‘ consists of 23 solid new tracks spanning a 2-CD collection featuring collaborations with such artists as Angel Of Violence, Mothboy, Iammynewt, Mono Penguin, ESA, Human Error, Mangadrive, Experiment Haywire, Servo Hatred, Pig Fat, Manufactura, and many more, with artwork by Kostas K. (Subheim) and mastering by Justin Brink (Pneumatic Detach).
With so many diverse minds and capable hands at work here, it’s almost unimaginable that such a strong, compelling, and astoundingly cohesive album such as ‘Symbiont Underground‘ could be achieved. Yet here it is…

With a pulse, like your thudding heart as they engage the drill, comes the first new release from Polluted Axis since "A Day In The Life Of..." "The Trephining Manual".
With only grinding reminders of his power noise roots present, this single from the upcoming "Trepanation Nation" album, expands on the cyberpunk sound that we have enjoyed from all their recent remixes. Bringing powerful and moving remixes from The Ludovico Technique, Mangadrive, Lucidstatic, and Lexincrypt you need this single far more than that new hole in your head.
So turn off the trephine drill and stuff the music in your earholes instead.
Purge.The.Sky, the latest chapter in the Mangadrive saga, spirals into the atmosphere and beyond with hyper-paced Techno beats, over-distorted synth lines and the occasional ambush lurking the shadows. Stepping in with a ferocious bite, this album is tightly packed with over an hour of red lined energy and refuses to idle itself for very long. Appearences by James Church(Lucidstatic), Brad Vaccine(Torrent Vaccine) and the hard dance duo Studio-X allow the dynamic attitude of the project to be displayed. Breaking genres, crossing lines and keeping the gas to the floor are just a few of the playlist's intentions that are addressed to the listener on a trip through a future where machines dominate both music and man.

MANUFACTURA As They Drown In Their Lies
Influential, controversial, admired and despised. The Madness known as Manufactura returns with the brand new album, "As They Drown In Their Lies". Once again blending everything from rhythmic noise to electro, dubstep, techno, trance and IDM. For this new work Manufactura has brought along a few friends for the production, for the damage and for the mayhem, including Lexincrypt, Iszoloscope, Electronic Substance Abuse (ESA) and Lucid Static. This particular body of work is being dedicated to all Poets, Writers, Artists & Musicians. It includes 4 tracks specifically reinterpreting the poems and songs of Charles Bukowski, Leonard Cohen, Jim Carroll & Lou Reed. Sinister, dark, twisted and filled with a distinctive malevolence that may cause this album to be considered one of Manufactura's heaviest and strongest releases to date.

Happy New Years to all the fans and friends of CRL Studios' musical projects: Lucidstatic, Ironworm/Komamusique, Angel of Violence,DownstroyD, 1nitial_li3z, XY Theory,DTL, and Pandora's Black Book. In 2010, we have a lot of upcoming releases from our music end of the operations and maybe a few suprises from the CRL gang. The website is being updated with Status update widgets from myspace for a few of the bands to allow the fans to know what the artists are up to. There will also be Reverb Nation widgets to enable music on the site without bogging down the upload. These new additions may have a few glitches to begin with but hopefully i can figure it out.
Also via the help of other musicians in the scene, we at CRL can now ship once again on a global level but we will also try to get the old releases from Lucidstatic and Pandora's Black Book set up for digital sales at a low price. this way you can enjoy the old favorites from Air Filter and Becoming.
In recent news, James Church has been brought on to Connexion Bizarre as a staff writer doing reviews and interviews and is in the process of compiling a new compilation for the site titled: You Are Here: A Compilation of Alaskan Electronics. The compilation will hopefully be out in the spring and will include unreleased material from both Lucidstatic, DownstroyD, Ironworm/Komamusique, and Pandora's Black Book . Also drop by HERE to read a promo interview that James did with Sumbraxis of Angel of Violence.

Crazy Gift
It's Christmas! Capitalist’s favourite season!
And as usual, Crazy-Language delivers what best the World Wide Web has to offer in terms of grade-A Electronic music. A nice recap of what was released throughout 2009, and perhaps a little taste of what’s to come in CL, cycles through 24 songs and countless BPMs.
You're visited by old collaborators, showing off their evolution and newcomers like, proving that electronic music is spawning everywhere, with fresh ideas out of the box. Complex, sometimes crazy, others chilled, nostalgic and peaceful. Doesn't matter. It's all unpretentious first-class music.
Best of all, it's nice to have this really for free without asking anything in return, in this hypocrite season of the year. All frickin’ hail the non-capitalist artists behind this!
We'll see you in 2010. With no charge. [FG]
xXRx is a side project from luc1d (Maschine Traum) and Omnihil meant to be an outlet for their more experimental creations that don't fit into the scope of their other bands. Built on the foundations of industrial, EBM and IDM.
The definitive ESA remix collection featuring excellent renditions of ESA’s critically-praised ‘The Sea & The Silence‘ album including Manufactura, C-Drone-Defect, Marching Dynamics, Stendeck, Access To Arasaka, Lights Out Asia, and more.
Expanding through several genres without the slightest lack in cohesiveness, ‘The Immaculate Manipulation‘ proves to be a completely solid release for dancefloor addicts and headphones purists alike.
The CD includes a link to bonus remixes featuring additional renditions by Lucidstatic, Ah Cama-Sotz, Keef Baker, Psytek, Autoclav1.1, and more.
So perfectly sonic, your headphones will love you for this…

TA026 | Pandora’s Black Book: Black Brothel
In between composing the harsh, uncompromising mayhem of his main project,Lucidstatic, Alaskan native James Church utilizes his prolific side-project Pandora’s Black Book to focus on more secular dark Industrial rhythms and dense ambient atmospheres, all carefully wrapped up in alluring beats and meticulously crafted synthwork.
With careful attention to cohesiveness and alluring dark ambiance, ‘Black Brothel‘ commands an air of maturity and function, expertly merging shadowy melodies, haunting pads, rich atmospheres, and infectious beatwork to arrive at a solid collage of intelligent down-tempo, yet abrasive Industrial works that will not soon be forgotten.
