Mono Penguin is a self - project, created by indie producer Alex Rivera. His music holds many different genres of electronic music, including Electro, Dubstep, Dance, Drum and Bass, and Industrial. Mono Penguin has been involved in the Fixt remix community (Fixtremix.com) for quite some time now, and has also been releasing free singles, demos, and other remixes since late 2007.

Mono Penguin was made as an act of randomness. A name made up with friends, and ideas thought up on drugs. From song names such as "Aids In My Eye", to "I Have No Clue", this act of randomness has continued to grow inside Alex's mind over the years and will continue to create more new and bizarre sounds for his listeners.
